Warehouse construction using polyurethane panels!

Warehouses made of polyurethane panels are ideal because they are of easy construction as well as they are of high strength and have excellent insulation. Polyurethane panels are a reliable, durable solution and they do not require maintenance or replacement. They offer excellent thermal and sound insulation and individual sealing.

Warehouses made of polyurethane panels do not take a long time to be built, they are constructed according to the needs of their owners and are adapted according to the environment in which they are placed. They are usually used for storing tools, machinery and agricultural products, as well as auxiliary rooms with appropriate insulation in the fields.

Their construction is simple and combines a metallic or wooden framework lined externally with polyurethane panels. This constructional method gives great durability to the warehouse and makes it an anti-seismic construction. The framework and  the polyurethane panels have a cost between $100-$150 per sq.m., depending on the thickness and quality of the polyurethane panels, including the building permit design but not including the cost of the license, VAT, concrete base construction, engineering designs and works, as well as connection fees to public networks.

The concrete base you choose will depend on the size of the building. The easiest and most economical way of founding is the cοncrete slabs placed on gravel and sand. These materials are suitable for small warehouses and you can build the concrete base by yourself  digging at a depth of about 30 cm and filling first with gravel and then with sand. For larger warehouses you will need a single concrete base, but you need to hire a specialist to do the job.

The durable materials of the polyurethane panels protect the interior of the warehouse from rain, snow and wind, while during the winter the interior space can be heated and maintain the temperature due to exterior panels insulation. In addition, you can further enhance warehouses by using various materials such as plywood and plasterboard to cover the interior walls that not only increase indoor protection from weather conditions, but also provide extra protection against rupture.
